1. Land's End is a headland and holiday complex in western Cornwall, England. It is the most westerly point of mainland Cornwall and England, is within the Penwith peninsula and is about eight miles (13 km) west-south-west of Penzance at the western end of the A30 road.

3. For January the weather is great, sunny warm and not windy.

4. Enjoy a walk around the cliff top and stop off to have a picture taken at the famous signpost which was established in the 1950’s when a local family-run business erected it.

5. Land's End Landmark offers a range of ‘pay as you go’ attractions from Arthur’s Quest, an interactive exhibition that takes guests on a journey of discovery, to Greeb Farm, a restored 200 year old Cornish farmstead where young and old can meet the animals.

6. There is a state-of-the-art 4D Cinema immersing guests in a cutting edge showing of the movie 20,000 Leagues under the Sea

7. If you have binoculars don’t forget to bring them because Land’s End is a legendary place for birdwatchers.

9. Land's End Airport provides regular flights to and from St Mary's Airport on the Isles of Scilly
